WABASH ARTS CORRI-DOORS: Adele Henning (HINK)

Title

Bite

Artist

Adele Henning (HINK)

Location

1600 S State St (alley)

Artist Statement

I have this repeated character I draw who has become almost a symbol for me, this hot pink, toothed snake. While the snake represents a multitude of things, in this mural it embodies the ‘bite’ of femininity that people usually stifle. Femininity and vulnerability are usually looked down upon, but I want to showcase these traits in a powerful light.
